Also bonus good news, doggo had good blood work today and cat-o is done with vet visits and graduates from her cone in a couple days.

Stickers on Lego cars are the worst. Why? Because once you put them on you realize they’re slightly off-kilter and you can’t remove them otherwise you’re never going to get it to stick on right and it makes you mad.

It looks so naked without the stickers. Nice thing about Lego stickers is they are good for repositioning if you get the initial placement off a bit. I let my 5yo do his own stickers now, but about 1 out of 5 I have to fix for him, but they unpeel and restick very well.

That set was one of the first ones I picked up when I started on my Lego kick a few years back. I had to buy a shelving unit to display all the sets, and I still have a few unbuilt because we are planning to move and I don’t want to hang anymore shelves. If you don’t already have the Porsche, I highly recommend it. It’s an awesome set And worth the $300. I just saw the rally car too, that’s on the list for the future purchases. That and the Mack truck set. Legos are awesome. I have my 5yo and 3yo help me build, so one of these Techinc sets can last us a good long time.

This set is an older one too, so it will be retired soon. Then the prices go up. Doesn’t hurt to grab it and stash it for later.

I didn’t have the best luck with the stickers on the F1 sets in the background. I just feel more obligated to apply legitimate sponsor stickers than a made-up theme!

I’ve been on the fence about the Porsche. It seems a bit off to pay more for a LEGO car than I’ve paid for some real ones. Maybe once I’ve re-saved all the money I just spent on vet bills I’ll see if it’s still available.

THats been my luck with them. I’m also terrible at judging just how far they have to be from the edges and it irritates me that the scale of the stickers is always off from the parts.

Catto is quite soft and fluffy. Since she was an outdoor kitty she had a pretty hefty winter coat when I caught her and now that she hasn’t had a dust bath in a month (she LOVES rolling in dirt) she’s good for cuddling.

Yeah, it’s a high price of admission for the Porsche, but it’s a great set.
